The Fieldhouse is for all ages and all abilities, and that includes how you book, pay, and find your way around online. This page says what we aim for, what we know still needs work, and how to reach a person when something is in the way.
WHAT WE AIM FOR
Our website (fieldhousemcallen.com) and our member app, The Hub, are built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means pages work with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed, in high contrast, and with animation reduced. Every image that carries meaning has a text alternative, every form field has a name, and the colors we use for text meet the contrast minimums.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT
A few things are still being improved. Some third party pieces we embed (the card payment page from Stripe, the Cloudflare Turnstile check on our forms) are built by those companies and follow their own accessibility statements. Video on the site may not yet have captions. If you hit anything else, we want to know.
IN THE BUILDING
The facility at 6424 N 10th St has step free entry, accessible restrooms, and accessible parking by the main door. Staff at the front desk can check you in, book for you, and take payment without the app or the kiosk. Service animals are welcome.
TELL US
If part of the website, the app, or the building is hard for you to use, email [email protected], call the front desk, or ask in person. Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we will work with you to get it done another way right then, and fix the cause. We answer within five business days.
ABOUT THIS STATEMENT
We review this statement and test the site and app at least once a year, and whenever we ship a large change. Last reviewed: October 17, 2026.
